Why Certification Matters

An unregulated industry — and why that makes credentials essential

Across the United States, the estate sale industry operates almost entirely without government oversight. Illinois is currently the only state that specifically regulates estate sales — in every other state, anyone can open an estate sale business tomorrow with no exam, no training, no background check, and no continuing education.
