An industry earns its standard by writing one.
The estate sale profession has never operated with a shared credential, a shared code of conduct, or a public means for a family to verify who they were about to hand a house full of a life's worth of possessions to. The IESP was founded to close that gap.

Jenna is the creator of Jennarocity Estate Sales and has built more than a decade of hands-on experience running estate sales — the operational systems, the client relationships, and the business fundamentals that make an estate sale company sustainable and profitable.
She began offering educational programs through Jennarocity in 2019, starting with a single training course for other operators. In 2026 she established IESP as the natural expansion of that work — a dedicated institute for education, certification, and professional development across the industry.
Why the IESP exists
The estate sale industry has grown quickly, and many operators enter the profession with little formal training and few educational resources designed for the actual challenges of estate sale operations. Several organizations have tried to fill that gap over the years — many have gone quiet, or no longer reflect the realities of today's industry.
Technology has transformed how estate sales are marketed and managed. Consumer buying habits have shifted. New tools, platforms, and business models keep emerging. Today's operators need current information and practical training that address the challenges they face now — not a decade ago.
IESP exists to support the continued growth and professional development of estate sale operators through education, certification, industry resources, and ongoing learning opportunities — with a commitment to keep every resource current as the profession evolves.
